Mirjana Veselinović-Hofman, University of Arts in Belgrade, Faculty of Music, Department of Musicology

Ph.D., worked as a full-time professor in the Department of Musicology at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade. Until retirement, was a long-time  Head  of  Department  and  the  chair  holder  of  its  scientific  projects.  She  was  affiliated  to  the  Department  of  Music  at  the  University  of  Pretoria,  South  Africa  (2003–2005), and cooperated with University of Music and Theatre in Rostock, Erasmus University in Rotterdam, and Academy of Arts / University of Novi Sad. A chair-person  of  the  IMS  Regional  Association  for  the  Study  of  Music  of  the  Balkans.  Editor-in-chief  of  the  New  Sound  International  Journal  of  Music,  and  IMS/RASMB  on-line  journal  Series  Musicologica  Balcanica.  Her  scientific  activity  has  focused  on  the areas of contemporary music, with special emphasis on the fields of Serbian and European  avantgarde  and  postmodernism.  She  has  published  around  90  scientific  studies, along with five books and two mini-monographs, some of which have been published abroad. Participated in conferences worldwide, several times also as a keynote speaker.
