Abstract

A few days before finalizing this issue of the New Sound journal, when we would be determining, as we did every time over the past several decades, the timing of our final steps in preparing the English-language version of our journal, we had to stop, distraught at the news that our esteemed colleague Tamara Rodwell Jovanović (1947–2025), a major pillar of all our editions in English, had died. Tamara Rodwell Jovanović leaves behind 64 editions of the New Sound journal, with our gratitude for her many decades of contributing to the Journal’s development and our dedication of this English-language issue to the memory of her invaluable professional and friendly collaboration with us.
