Marina Marković, University of Arts in Belgrade, Faculty of Music, Department of Musicology

Ph.D. in musicology, Assistant Professor at the Department of Musicology, Faculty of Music in Belgrade. Her main research interests include Serbian and Eastern Slavic Orthodox Church music, also interdisciplinary music studies. Dr. Marković participated in “Endangered Archives. Voiceless Choirs. Serbian Musical Collections from Zemun in the 19th and Early 20th Centuries”, a joint research project by the British Library (London), the Historical Archive of Belgrade, and the Faculty of Music at the University of Arts in Belgrade. She is the author of the book Hymns of Srbljak in Monophonic Anthologies of Serbian Chant (Belgrade: Signature, 2006). Dr. Marković publishes her research papers in journals and thematic collections of national and international importance and participates in national and international scientific conferences.
